Since the last time I posted here I've done a LOT of art.  Blown glass, Drawing, and 3d Modelling. Have a Work in Progress of an Ikazuchi Carrier from Mospeada (aka Robotech: The New Generation for those of us in the US).  Got about 60 hours into it so far.

So I have some inspiration to begin a new type of blown glass art.  This new art needed sketches of the work I plan to do.  Doing the sketches got me to drawing again. Back in January/February I found a series of books by J "NeonDragon" Peffer, and started working on some dragon sketches.  Imagine my surprise when tonight I found they have a deviantart account.  AWESOME books, I highly recommend them.  When I can afford it, I'm getting the DVD too. Anyhow, the last 4 weeks now I've been working on a dragon drawing.  Friends over on Facebook know this, as I've posted a few pictures there of the work in progress. I'm now ready to start color

Well, this years Scandinavian Festival was down... a LOT. I made 60% of my normal yearly sales, despite having my best stock ever.  Then again, while the money I make there is a great bonus right before 3 birthdays in the family, I don't rely on it. I do the festival for the fun, more than the money.  I get to blow glass is public, which is more exciting than it sounds, and get to see everyone from my hometown. So, maybe next year the economy will be up a little, and sales will be too, but either way, right now, its just fun to be there.  And it was.
